Mohd Radzuan Ahmad Tajuddin
Graduated from University Kebangsaan Malaysia with a Second Upper Degree in Finance and Marketing, his 23 years with the regulator saw his expertise covering the area of regulation, supervision and development of capital markets including Islamic capital markets, corporate finance in aspects of fund raising, listing, mergers and acquisitions, Bond Market, Prospectus Disclosure and operationalization of Shariah Governance via the Shariah Advisory Council.
He specialises on sustainable finance and investments strategy development, financial inclusion and innovative financing solutions. Prior to that he has had extensive experience in investment banking, stockbroking and financial journalism.
He was lead consultant to the Indonesian Government for 2019 Indonesia’s Islamic Economic Masterplan, IsDB for the Development of Islamic finance Master Plan of Republic of Kazakhstan and a panel consultant on Sukuk infrastructure development for the Central Bank of Afghanistan.
He is a member of BNMs Law Harmonisation Committee, Islamic Finance Committee member of Malaysia Accounting Standard Board (MASB), Working Group member, Development of Standards and Guiding Principles, Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB), Working Group member on Green Finance, World Bank-Securities Commission-Bank Negara Malaysia, and a former Shariah Committee member of Foundation for Development of Islamic Economy Malaysia (YaPeim).

His legal practice for banking industry involves in Shariah and legal documentation, transaction document review, product structuring, institutions polices and governance in complying with regulatory guidelines. He also advises GLCs on commercial disputes and represent Muslim individuals on family and wealth matters.
He holds Bachelor of Laws (LLB (Hons)) and Laws in Shariah (LLB Shariah (Hons)) from International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM).
